New York, den 2. September 1941
(Max Bredig)

New York, September 2, 1941
Dear Ms. Wolfsberg,
Today, I wanted to quickly inform you that, in agreement with Ms. Hayn and Professor Nord, I am about to send a copy of Hochwand’s recommendation letter from the American Cyanamide Company (sent to Ms. Hayn), together with a copy of my letter from May 16th (to the Madrid Consul) by registered mail. The latter is identical to the one sent to you three weeks ago to the National Refugee Service at 165 West 46 Str., New York.
It is then up to the committee to decide whether it will consider submitting these documents again or whether it will be satisfied with the existing copies at the State Department, which were submitted in June.
Just in case, I had a photocopy of the letter from the American Cyanamide Company made beforehand. I will keep it here with me and it is available to copy at any time.
Best regards,
(Max Bredig)
