Letter from Max Bredig to Ilse Wolfsberg, October 5, 1941
- 1941-Oct-05
Max Bredig (1902-1977) thanks Ilse Wolfsberg for her correspondence but regretfully explains that his current workload prevents him from being able to provide the level of assistance he would like with the immigration case of her fiancé, Fritz Hochwald (1897-1968). As a result, Bredig requests that Wolfsberg reach out to a law firm for help. Bredig also mentions that he will inquire about Hochwald's patent at his company to determine whether there is interest in it.

M.A. Bredig

Dear Ms. Wolfsberg,
Thank you very much for your letter and Hochwald’s letter from September 14th. I am currently very busy and can’t attend to your affairs as much as I would like. I would therefore like to request that you contact Munn and Anderson independently, so that your further business is taken care of through the company. With regards to the patent, I will inquire at my company if there is interest or if someone could give me advice on who may be interested.
Ms. Hayn has kindly agreed to ask a friend, who is a chemist and librarian, to find out more about the production of saccharine in scientific literature. At the moment, I am not unfortunately unable to do this.
I hope that by the time this letter arrives, you have received a favorable final response from Washington. Best regards.
Sincerely,
M.A. Bredig
