We are writing today in reference to your letter from February 2nd of this year regarding the above shipment, which was forwarded to New York and Ann Arbor on February 2nd. The key was sent with the documents to New York and should undoubtedly be, together with the shipment, in the possession of the recipient.
With regards to Mr. Max Bredig’s remaining balance of 310 Reichsmarks, we request that you inform us if another shipment is to be expected. Otherwise, we will be forced to deposit this amount into a new blocked account under Mr. Max Bredig’s name, for which we would have to obtain the approval of the foreign exchange office beforehand.
