Lieber Max-Albert!
An Fam. Kurk u.
Was tust Du mit Arrhenis.
Herzl. Grüsse von Vater
Marianne kommt am Donnerstag früh in Berlin an. Nicht abholen!

Dear Max-Albert,
I am sending you the original letter from Professor Berl, which I forgot to include in my registered letter yesterday.
Only write to the Kurk and Reichert families if you have made arrangements in advance with Rosi in Hamburg. She will let the people in New York know of your impending correspondence.
Don't forget to return the copies of my manuscripts so that I can complete them and have them bound together. What are you doing with Arrhenis?
Warm regards,
Father
Marianne will arrive in Berlin on Thursday early in the morning. You don't have to pick her up.
