Thank you note from Gilbert Newton Lewis (1875-1946) to Georg Bredig (1868-1944). Bredig had previously sent Lewis copies of his papers.

Gilbert Newton Lewis was an American physical chemist and, at the time of writing to Bredig, was a faculty member at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Lewis had also previously studied in Germany under Walther Nernst (1864-1941) and Wilhelm Ostwald (1853-1932).
