Manufactured in Manchester, England by Associated Electrical Industries (AEI), this MS-9 was the first installed in the United States. At Humble, it was used to identify complex hydrocarbon, sulfur, nitrogen, and oxygen compounds in petroleum through accurate measurement of mass in parts per million.
