Je profite de l'occasion pour vous adresser une demande. Lorsque vous aurez traduit mes mémoires sur l'hystérésis, vous seriez bien obligeant de me renvoyer mon texte: je dois, durant la prochaine année académique, faire un cours complet sur ces questions, et comme j'ai une extrême difficulté à écrire, la possession de ce texte allégera un peu la peine que j'ai à rédiger mes notes de cours.

I have received your wonderful work on catalytic actions; it is rich with new ideas and will very certainly generate much new research. My sincere congratulations for this achievement.
Let me take this opportunity to ask you for a favor. When you are finished translating my essays on hysteresis, would you be kind enough to return them to me. I am teaching a course on the subject this coming academic year, and since I have great difficulties writing, the text itself will alleviate the pain of redacting my lecture notes a bit.
