Mx 35.
Lieber Max!
III etc. (die Bände I u.

Dear Max,
As an addendum to my letter Mx #34 from earlier today, I would like to share that Dr. Jol. wrote the following note to me on September 10th:
“I wish your son all the best. If he would ever like literature references, he should contact me.”
However, he is now away for 2 ½ weeks at the following address: “Winzer Hirsch, Dresden, Dr. Weidner's Laboratory.” You would have to write to him there. You can also write to him at the convention in Leipzig and say “Please forward as soon as possible”, especially regarding urgent matters. Otherwise, maybe you could correspond with him later from the USA.*
I requested that he send you Volume III of the Eucken-Jakob textbook “Chemical Engineering” (I already have Volumes I and II), as well as Volume II of “Structure Reports” and other resources pertaining to the use of X-rays.
Best wishes,
Father
*If necessary, ask him for the publisher's brochures and other catalogs. The latter are often found in the Journal of Physical Chemistry.
