Wo ich jetzt hier mit der Einrichtung meines Laboratoriums beschäftigt bin und womöglich schnell in Gang kommen möchte würden Sie mir einen großen Gefallen thun durch Zusendung eines Ostwald’schen Thermostaten (womöglich groß) mit Rührvorrichtung und Regulator. Könnten Sie ein gebrauchtes, gefundenes Exemplar zur Verfügung stellen das wär’ mir sehr lieb, dann lass’ ich sofort ein privates nachmachen und sende Ihriges zurück.

Now that I am busy setting up my laboratory here and would like to get started as soon as possible, could you do me a big favor by sending me an Ostwald thermostat (possibly large) with a stirring device and a regulator? Could you provide me with a used model? I’d really like that. I'll then have my own model made right away and return yours.
