Scientific Notes from Jacobus van't Hoff sent to Georg Bredig
Notes handwritten by Dutch physical chemist, Jacobus H. van’t Hoff (1852-1911). Van’t Hoff was the first winner of the Nobel Prize in chemistry in 1911 and is considered to be one of the lead pioneers of the field of physical chemistry.
These notes came into the possession of German chemist, Georg Bredig (1868-1944), as Bredig completed a portion of his post-doctoral work in Van’t Hoff’s Amsterdam laboratory in 1894.
