Black and white photograph of Georg Bredig (1868-1944) seated and reading a book and Egon Elöd (1891-1960) standing and peering over his shoulder at the Technical University in Karlsruhe. To their right are glassware and apparatuses. At the time this photograph was taken, Elöd was a private lecturer, teaching textile and tanning chemistry. In 1926, he became a full-time professor.
