Official letter relieving Georg Bredig of all his duties as professor of physical chemistry and electrochemistry at the Eidgenössische Polytechnische Schule in Zurich (now known today as the ETH Zurich). Bredig is officially relieved on September 30, 1911, and the Swiss government thanks him for the service he gave to the institution.

On behalf of the Schweizerische Schulrat, the institution's governing body, the letter is signed by the Schulrat's President, Dr. Robert Gnehm, as well as its Secretary.
