Four skeins of yarn, connected in bundles of two. Each has been skein dyed with General Aniline & Film Corporation dye, 1% Acid Alizarine Brown RRL-CF and 1% Supralan Grey BRLS-CF. There is a paper label attached to each bundle that states the dye name and manufacturer.

Skein dyeing is a method of coloring yarn in which a skein, or a length of yarn wound in a loose coil, is immersed in a receptacle containing pigment.
