Group photograph of Japanese doctors visiting the Merck Institute in Rahway, New Jersey, on July 18th, 1958. Paired with the photograph is a letter from C. W. Mushett to Max Tishler (1906-1989). In the letter, the visiting doctors are identified as Professor Tukuji Ichikawa, Dr. Hamao Umezawa (1914-1986), and Dr. Y. Kotake.
