In 1987, the businesswoman Ann Deal founded the company under the name Freedom Forms in Florida. Initially, the company only had one product, the Adhesive Body Bra. In 1993 the company re-located to California under the new name, Fashion Forms, Inc. Deal's most groundbreaking feat was the Water Bra, which was first flaunted by supermodel Heidi Klum for Victoria's Secret in 1998. The company is also well-known for its Wrap Bra product, "the world's first strapless bra that does not fall down."
