Cover, frontismatter, frontispiece and title page have been digitized from this biography of French chemist, biologist and microbiologist Louis Pasteur (1822-1895). He is credited for discovering the principles of vaccination, microbial fermentation and pasteurization. His scientific discoveries provided a better understanding of the cause and prevention of diseases.
