Verehrter Herr Bredig!
Dieser Tage wurde mir durch Herrn Viktor Homburger umliegender Brief geschickt. Ferner hat Elisabet die Autoren der Affidavitgeber, ihrer Eltern gekabelt: Neilson Brinton Hill Falls Village Conneticut (ob Brinton zu Neilson oder zu Hill gehört, weiss ich nicht). Bitte, überteile mir doch, was ich in dieser Sache machen könnte. Elisabet hat mich früher mal gefragt, ob ich durch hiesige Muir-Stiftungen einen Urlaubsbeitrag für ihre Eltern bekommen könne. Das ist ausgeschlossen. Sie frug dies, weil die Affidavitgeber die Garantie nicht durchführen können oder wollen. Ich glaube man soll alles für sie

herzubekommen. Ein bescheidener Unterhalt wird sich auf alle Fälle finden lassen.
Ich möchte an die Affidavitgeber erst herantreten, wenn ich Ihre Antwort habe. Ich möchte sie garnicht fragen ob sie die Reisekosten bezahlt haben oder bezahlen weren.

Dear Mr. Bredig,
Recently, Mr. Viktor Homburger’s circular letter was sent to me. In addition, Elisabet cabled the names of the affidavit provider to her parents: Neilson Brinton Hill Falls Village Connecticut (I don’t know if Brinton belongs to Neilson or Hill). Please let me know how I can help with this matter. Elisabet asked me earlier if the local Muir Foundation could obtain a financial contribution for her parents. That is not possible. She asked this because the affidavit providers can’t or don’t want to offer sponsorship. I think

they should receive everything. Nevertheless, a modest allowance will be found.
I would only like to contact the affidavit providers when I have their answer. I don’t wish to ask them if they have paid or will pay for the travel costs.
