Max Bredig (1902-1977) writes to a family friend, Charles Siebenmann. Max expresses his regrets that he missed seeing Siebenmann in person while he visited New York. Max then shares news of his professional life and updates Siebenmann on his family's status in Germany. Max's father and sister, Georg Bredig (1868-1944) and Marianna Homburger (1903-1986) have both been permitted to leave Germany and are planning to await visa's to the United States in Holland and England respectively.
