Print advertisement for Dowflake depicts a photographic reproduction of a car driving down a dirt road with trees and a body of water in the distance. Patented on February 17, 1925, Dowflake was marketed for use to control dust on unpaved roads and parking lots, as well as a roadway deicer. This advertisement appeared on page 69 of The Literary Digest for April 16, 1927.
