Monsanto Hall of Chemistry pamphlet
The cover of this chromolithograph pamphlet depicts the entrance of Monsanto's Hall of Chemistry exhibit which opened in Disneyland's Tomorrowland in July 1955. Foldout contains illustrations and text on how chemistry aids one "...in food, clothing, shelter and health today, and some of the exciting possibilities chemistry has in store for you tomorrow..." The verso has a brief history of Monsanto, founded in 1901 to manufacture saccharin with additional products including chemicals, plastics, petroleum products and "all" dishwasher detergent at the time of publishing. The Hall of Chemistry closed in September 1966.
