Copy of "Lecture Series on the Nuclear Atom" belonging to Spofford G. English (1916-1981). The report, CL-1305, was declassified by the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission on April 12, 1948, though the transmittal date on this copy is July 21, 1948.

The report consists of notes to a lecture series, held March 16-June 6, 1944, organized to "acquaint technical personnel who have previously been in other fields with the present status of atomic physics and chemistry the nuclear atom." The notes were written by various lecturers and were "primarily intended to recall the material in the lectures in such a fashion that persons who have attended or have a modest general knowledge can reconstruct the lectures" in such a way as to facilitate further study. Pages [4]-[5] list the lecture number, topic, lecturer, and date.
