Mit viel Vergnügen habe ich die Formalitäten erfüllt, welche Sie ich Ihrem Brief vorgeschlagen um die Einwilligung d. Akademie zum Veröffentlichen der van’t Hoffschen Abhandlung zu erhalten. Die Antwort von Zeiten der Akademie wird natürlich einige Wochen auf sich warten lassen, wonach ich an Sie schreiben werde.

Dear Dr. Bredig,
I was delighted to complete the formalities that you proposed in your letter to obtain the Academy’s approval for the publication of van’t Hoff’s work. The Academy’s response will of course take a few weeks, upon which I will write to you.
