Lieber Freund!
Dein ganz ergebener Svante Arrhenius

Dear Friend,
Unfortunately, I only have a single copy left of the few copies that Janowicz (Academic Publisher Ges. Sp. 2) sent me. In lieu of this, I am sending you a similar article from the anniversary issue of the Weekly Magazine for Chemistry. In Ostwald’s commemorative volume, I took out some of the notes about van’t Hoff and replaced others referring to Ostwald. Both should be discussed together. I also included a small essay on electrical conductivity along with sample solutions, according to which gas laws (Boyle’s) are valid for highly diluted solutions (also Guldberg-Waage). I was very pleased with this little story. Taylor did not write an essay about Snethlage's correspondence. P.S: I have received your paper but have not yet read it. I was busy preparing a report for the Center for Chemotherapy. When I am more rested, I will write again soon. Warm regards. Yours faithfully, Svante Arrhenius
