Portrait of Justus von Liebgig (1803-1873), a German scientist. Justus von Liebig was a professor of chemistry at the University of Giessen in Germany and is recognized as one of the main founders of organic chemistry. The portrait is based on a drawing completed by Wilhelm Trautschold in 1845.
